Curaçao, January 25, 2025

BRANCH Coral Foundation is proud to announce that we have officially joined Club 17, aligning our mission with SDG 14: Life Below Water. This milestone was shared during our successful Coral Happy Hour fundraiser, where Club 17 member Andy Kirchner, also known as The Recycled Pirate, welcomed BRANCH into the initiative.

A collective effort for a sustainable Curaçao

Club 17 is a platform dedicated to advancing the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, aiming to transform Curaçao into a leading example of sustainability in the Caribbean. Through collaboration with businesses, NGOs, and government entities, Club 17 fosters impactful initiatives that drive positive environmental and social change.
By joining Club 17, BRANCH strengthens its commitment to restoring and protecting Curaçao’s coral reefs. Our work, growing and outplanting corals, raising awareness, and engaging the community, perfectly aligns with Club 17’s vision. Together with fellow members, we will enhance local conservation efforts, promote sustainability, and work toward a healthier marine ecosystem.

As a member of Club 17, BRANCH is excited to amplify its impact, fostering collaborations that drive sustainable change for Curaçao’s marine life. We extend our gratitude to Andy Kirchner and the members of Club 17 for their warm welcome. Together, we will continue to protect and restore our reefs.
